Steven Harry Greenblatt, LCSW

Psychotherapy with Couples, Families and Adults in Burlingame and the San Mateo / Peninsula Area
People who come to my psychotherapy practice can expect a careful exploration of their psychological and emotional needs and the circumstances that bring them to therapy. My clients frequently comment that I have an accurate understanding of their difficulties and say: “You hit the nail right on the head!”
Providing couples, family, or individual therapy involves my active participation as an interpreter promoting an understanding of dynamics and conflicts in relationships. The therapeutic goal is developing healthy, fulfilling and sustainable relationships.
I have been in independent practice since 1979 while simultaneously providing psychotherapy services to members of Kaiser Permanente from 1983 through 2009. I was also the Chief Clinical Social Worker/Clinical Supervisor for the Kaiser Redwood City Department of Psychiatry from 1989 through 2009. I am a member of the California Society for Clinical Social Work and previously served on the Board of Directors. I received my Master of Social Welfare degree from the University of California Los Angeles in 1976.
